Mindflyer’s scans from Figure Drawing Session v.1

Here are some of mine. Was trying out Drewscape’s technique of using a midtone ink brush. I try to nail the figure with the midtones then use a black brush to secure the final shape.

    Which brush you used for this one? pretty bold ..nice ones..i was expecting some drawings in your signature style too :)

    For the mid tone I use the water brush filled with diluted Lamy ink as suggested by Drew.

    For the shape / Black lines I used a Pentel brush pen bought from Japan. The cartridge ink is waterproof. http://www.amazon.com/Pentel-Pocket-Brush-Pen/dp/B002LJRKN8

    I am still trying to let loose like Zid and Drew- still more at home with a wacom and working in private :)

    Would love to whack in my fave style using brush pen soon I hope ;P.

    Nice. You’ve captured the little bumps of the muscles and bones. Seems like you could use the black brush immediately rather using the mid-tone lines first. Don’t be afraid of mistakes.
