This is a short animation clip that some of the people worked on. It seemed like just a few minutes of animation but there are REAL work involved.. from researching the flats.. to the characters as well as the tone and the colors. These people really worked hard it and I think the results show.Quite proud of it.

Basically, we are telling the story of HDB flats but by weaving in a story of a little boy and his kid sister. Watch it and it’s pretty self explanatory from that point onwards

music is reference track. composed by Tenmon, taken from ‘Voices from a Distant Star’, directed by Makoto Shinkai…

the mood and colors in the animation are awesome, and i liked how the different sides of HDB estate was shown instead of just the nice and clean parts. the only thing is stray cats in sg usually not so pretty. :X

    naice!

Love it! The mood and colors are awesome! I like the BG the best and the flow of story is really cool! Good job! But do something to the music.

This was such a passion project that would have looked awesome I think – 30 short films were planned and even the stories were mostly laid out. Such a blow to have had the project stalled. Maybe someday we’ll get to do it.

A pang of nostalgia, it takes me home. Back to the days when the sun was a lot brighter. This work deserves more than words if you can hear this *clap clap clap*

How beautiful is that! Lovely! Captures the HDB heartland so well – the mood and the numerous details. So much heart in this.
