Unsold O.I.C Portrait Day (October) Drawings
Posted: October 30th, 2010 | Author: Zid | Filed under: OIC Portrait Day | 9 Comments »Hey guys, a preamble before our next Portrait Day session! I’d like to share some of the drawings that didn’t get picked up from earlier this month. I don’t want to spam so I’ll just put 3. You can see the rest of them here (on my blog). Thanks for viewing!

Good one Zid
.
Always very encouraging for me to find very competent artists whom I admire like yourself , Ray , Shyam , Miel and others still finding Portrait Day a worthwhile event to participate in month after month.
We have OIC to thank to for orgainizing such activity. For me, it’s unlike any other I’ve been in – it’s laid back yet enthusiast can indulge themselves in all seriousness. For the record, I wouldn’t have picked up Copic markers if it wasn’t to experiment on Portrait Day. I’ve always been afraid of the tool. So kudos, Portrait Day!
So it’s Zid who drew the 3rd piece. This particular one caught my attention out of all… nice job!
Annie: Thank you! Was channeling Yoshitaka Amano with the pattern on her clothes
Simply fantastic! I didn’t manage to get to view everyone’s drawings that day! I’m glad you’ve posted yours!
I definitely think they should share their sketches online. I remember seeing Soloist’s on his blog http://soloistblog.blogspot.com
Beautiful Sketches as always !
Great to see that artists like you attend Portrait Day
