Zine Meet 2017.01 with PIXIN

We are pleased to announce our new collab with one of OIC’s pioneer artist PIXIN! This is a fun workshop to make Zines! Read the info, register and participate!

ABOUT ZINE MEET

Please come join us for ZINE MEET, where both artists and non-artists (a.k.a creative folks who don’t doodle as often as they would like to) gather to make some art together. Continuing OIC Singapore’s (Organisation of Illustrators Council) tradition of inclusiveness through creative art processes, participants need only bring themselves and their own drawing tools (if they would like to) for ZINE MEET, for some lo-fi magik to take shape and form. In a highly structured, paperwork-focused society like Singapore, ZINE MEET strives for a space where organicity, openness and oddities be celebrated for the art soul in all of us to thrive.

Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided!

ART FACILITATOR – PIXIN

Weng Pixin. Pixin is an artist & art facilitator born and raised in Singapore. She grew up listening to stories from her father, who was curious about the way the world works. In turn, when it comes to her art, Pixin loves to create semi-autobiographical comics that reflects her curious nature too. Pixin almost resides in Studio Why Not, an art studio surrounded by greenery, horses and monkeys, where children enter to have fun making art.
