last weekend i was invited by Ria Foundation to display my work for Hopes & Dreams Art Exhibition @ Union Square, San Francisco. My first themed exhibition in the heart of san francisco, surrounded by macys, niketown, tiffany, aka touristy spot.
)) I love painting on wood panels and these were all done with acrylic paints. Mindflyer commented how in singapore the sun rays could bleach colors but i guess over on this part of the world it didn’t felt like it mattered because we only get 2 weeks of sunshine out of 365days… or maybe I was just too excited to even think more about it. More pictures on my blog

apologies for this long over due posting :S Life was a lil’ hectic with travels and life events..
about me:
I grew up with nonya kuehkuehs and laksa and have been missing them for the last 7 years while based here in san francisco. Graduated with a BFA in animation here and worked for a game company in albany. Currently shuffling between being a full time MFA student and a part-time tutor at the academy of art university. I love experimenting with various media and painting portraits. All that comes as a hobby when i take a break from driving towards becoming a full-time concept artist in the states. The art scene here is vibrant and really inspiring, i’ll do my best in posting them here. I keep a humble blog @
www.shawnachan.blogspot.com and feed on pbnj sandwich which i occasionally share with my kitty.
