This year’s theme is “Butterflies”. As usual, there is a layer of gold hotstamping in certain areas of the illustration.The typeface for the main title was rejected and replaced with a more conventional one, but i prefer this typeface, feels more appropriate to me. Cheers!
Same poster project. Berrylite is a yogurt franchise which uses hollywood-themed graphics, so i proposed a movie-themed design for their publicity poster.
Of course, i was totally biased in choice of movie :p
Spot illustrations for a poster layout. They were laid out separately in rows and columns in the design, but i thought to try putting them together instead as if they were on a table. Man, I got quite hungry while rendering these…

1) I’m too poor to buy customized shoes, so i had to make my own… (oh yes, the picture below the shoes is a new drawing by me as well) Strange soldier guys return!!!

Anyone else having trouble with posting pictures on OIC? Ever since i upgraded my firefox, when i try to post a new entry, i find i have lost all my load picture options (the usual buttons and window with the justify left, right or centre is gone!) I’m left with just posting text…
Update: Problem solved. But if anyone else has this problem, try this: (for firefox & singnet users)
Go to Firefox -> preferences -> Advanced -> Network -> Settings button:
switch to manual proxy configuration, then in the HTTP Proxy box, fill in “proxy.singnet.com.sg” and Port “8080″
Yesterday was not only my first OIC figure drawing session, it was my first figure drawing session ever. So I was totally unprepared for the break neck speed of the 1 min to 3 min warm-up poses. I think I’ll spare everyone the “exercise in futility” of the initial incomplete lines and cut straight to the more relaxing 5 min to 10 min poses heh… Thanks again to organisers and participants alike! Saw some really cool renderings yesterday, hope to see the rest of the group post them up! 
So… i was trying out the new circle line in Bishan the other day and walking underground when i spotted this very, very familiar wall mural design stretched on this long wall…
