Overwhelmed by the support and good vibes we get whenever we have a portraits session! I wish I can clone more of myself to capture all the wonderful moments and talk to everyone! This month- our session is like a great meeting place for many friends- some even booking from KL via email! Really touched to see some friends come back yet again to participate and show support! 11.11.11 was another eventful Portrait After Dark session! Great vibe! Great crowd and Great music!
We really salute the parents who braved the sound and crowd to pose for us with their little ones! We are also very blessed with artists who participated and make the best use of the tight space – they can draw standing up or sitting on the floor. And of course- nothing happens without dedicated helpers – seasoned illustrators who forgo drawing for the evening but just help out with running the show! We are looking forward to the next great drawing session – 9th Dec 2011! See you there!

Thanks everyone for participating! We had a very good time! The vibe was set for “kickass mode” the moment I step in to MAAD because a DJ friend ( Desmond Sim ) was banging my favourite
Soil & “Pimp” track!! Throw in good company, “VIP”s, amazing ice cream, beer and portraits and we are all set for a good time!

MAAD is now on FRIDAY NIGHTS!

MAAD is having a new “birth” and the event date/ day has changed.

From now on- it will be on a pre announced Friday night. Once a month.

OIC Portrait Day is now called “Portrait After Dark”

A lovely day at MAAD on Jul 2nd.

A day of celebration, a day of super cute kids and little girls and dogs, a day of lovely couples and families, a day for catching up and meeting new friends, a wonderful day out for siblings and good friends!

Artists!?Polish your drawing skills & catch up with your OIC buddies at the same time. Everyone gets 20 minutes to draw the “patron/ sitter” at the same time. You get $10 for each drawing sold . Make it PLAYFUL and COLOURFUL, all skill levels welcomed. OIC Portrait Day is about artists having fun and experimenting with new ways to capture an interesting image and making new friends.?You don’t have to be an OIC member to take part but you have to register and please read the FAQ. Come and draw, make friends and spread good drawing vibes.

Artists Registration Fee is S$10/-?*Posting your work for view & sale (compulsory ) is a sign of appreciation to the patron/sitter/ poser .
