here’s a fashion illustration that i was recently commissioned to do for GODDESS CHAMBRE, a shoes bags and accessories boutique. everything i love! the client also let me draw anything i wanted so i just experimented a little away from my usual style. the only thing my client asked was to have an illustrated girl to be the face of Goddess Chambre. the artwork was also adapted for a 2fold business card design, which i designed as well.
linework and colouring done in illustrator, then ported to photoshop to make it pop more with loose highlights and shadows.

Thanks Bella for posting this tip! “mf”
A website recommended by a friend (photographer) of mine, it’s basically an online database/accounts system for invoicing your freelance work. You can keep a database of clients (free account only limits to 3 clients, a $14/m allows you 25) and you don’t have to re-enter the address/name/email/company into your invoices if you’re being contracted by the same guy again.
The best part – with a click of the send button in the invoicing page, it generates an automated email that links your client to a webpage of the invoice, and when the client has viewed it, FreshBooks informs you immediately.
Its convenient for those on the fly. You can have your own FreshBooks “webpage”. For instance, mine is http://bellagoh.freshbooks.com.
