Thanks everyone for participating! We had a very good time! The vibe was set for “kickass mode” the moment I step in to MAAD because a DJ friend ( Desmond Sim ) was banging my favourite
Soil & “Pimp” track!! Throw in good company, “VIP”s, amazing ice cream, beer and portraits and we are all set for a good time!

Good to see so many friends came by to participate and just hang out! ( Kevin Lee, Diana Tai, Kelley Cheng, Lynn Teh, Dave Chua, Li-anne, Su-Ann, SanSan, Ray Toh, Jerry Teo, Darius Cheong, Candy Kang, Ben Qwek, Kenny Ng, friends from NTU! And many more! )
Even better to make many new friends!
Next session is September 9 we hope to start sharp at 7pm! Book early!

MAAD is having a new “birth” and the event date/ day has changed.

From now on- it will be on a pre announced Friday night. Once a month.

OIC Portrait Day is now called “Portrait After Dark”

It’s OIC Portrait Day @MAAD !!! Join us for more fun and practice of figure drawing skills (and get paid for it). Bring your favorite drawing tools, paper and materials.

How it works:

  • A customer sits for 10-15mins.
  • All of us draw.
  • Customer gets to choose and buy his/her favourite drawing.
  • If yours gets chosen, you get $8 for each drawing.
  • If not, hey it’s good practice and you’ll just get better.

Meet at 2pm and please be punctual. We’ll go somewhere nice (but not too costly) to eat after it ends. See you there. Everyone welcome ( but must try to stay for full session from 2-7pm)! Big thank you to all the patrons who bought our doodles and sketches. We sold a total of 60 pieces!!! Amazing!!

Thanks to:
1. Our fellow MAAD “neigbours” who help us by supplying plastic bags for oversize drawings – you know who u are :)
( pls OIC people- can we stick to A4 size??!! )
2. 15 artists who took part too and esp those who who stayed back for dinner.
3. Steph and Fei for taking photos
4. Those who helped us out when we were disorganised!!
5. MAAD – esp Shanon- our part time “PIMP” and da beer!!!
6. “Little Foot” for the super rich and yummy chocolate cake!!

And for those who sign up but never appeared- tsk tsk – you miss all the fun!!
