Nataliette goes back in time…

I’m Nataliette and I’m a designer who likes to draw. I do mainly digital illustrations as I seldom like to get my hands dirty, but occasionally I do enjoy rubbing charcoal on paper. My most revered idols would be Salvador Dali and Oscar Wilde.
Here’s some of my old work done during artschool and secretly doodling when I was supposed to be listening to my lecturers…

DESPERATION FOR A MUSE by nataliette. charcoal on paper, 2005.

RE CYCL ED LOVE by nataliette. markers and ink on sketchbook, 2006.

THEY WERE CRYING WHEN THEIR SONS LEFT by nataliette. ink on sketchbook, 2006.

REACHING FOR THE COOKIE JAR by nataliette, 2007. pencil and ink on sketchbook.
Sometimes when I feel jaded or completely uninspired, I like to flip through my old sketchbooks and kind of travel back in time to reopen the eyes of that naivete and enthusiastic younger artist in me.
My recent artistic ventures are much much different from those now (and I realise, quite sadly, that these are much less varied).
Here are some little samples.
