We were invited to the special event for HP’s TouchPad launch at the Klapsons The Boutique Hotel on 26th July. Due to the smaller space allocated to us – we have to be very selective and handpick 12 “spartans”/artists to show the crowd what a portrait event by OIC is all about!
We had a wonderful time pleasing the crowd! First time we had such an intense 1 to 1 kind of session and we were very pleased that even our new comers Xin Nie and Sharon took the challenge very well! There were also many queries about OIC and what we do.
We hope to do more such sessions especially with brands like HP that believes in giving local talents opprotunities to shine.
Thanks to Hsu Wei and the HP team, Pat Law and the GoodStuph crew , Edelman, PMG Asia and of course our specially handpicked team from OIC that make this event fun and memorable!
A day of celebration, a day of super cute kids and little girls and dogs, a day of lovely couples and families, a day for catching up and meeting new friends, a wonderful day out for siblings and good friends!
Thanks to all those who missed our company and drawing love and come by to support the event inspite of their tight schedules ( and injuries )
Thanks to all our participants!
Thanks to my helpers Li-anne, JF, Raymond and others. See you all again in August! ( Please note that there is a change of date – more info coming soon! )

Before “The Chairman” gets on my case for not posting on this blog, here’s something i did when my iMac crashed. While my replacement laptop occasionally made spinning “rainbow connection” when handling heavy Photoshop files. I will doodle to make the agony a little easier. All portraits are done under 15 minutes, and with no touch ups. You can view more drawings HERE.
Clockwise from top: Audrey Tautou, Willie Nelson, Hugh Laurie and TangWei
