IFS X Street Fighter Skate Deck Auction

I am sure you must have seen Imaginary Friend Studio’s amazing Street Fighter inspired- hand painted decks by now!

This is part of a celebration of the upcoming launch of Capcom’s Super Street Fighter® IV Arcade Edition (Available: June 28th) and is in aid of an on-line auction charity drive for the “Music for Relief’s Japan tsunami relief effort”.

The artist at IFS includes- Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, Kendrick Lim a.k.a. kunkka, Brandon Chng a.k.a. Kaizo, Kenneth Loh, Yin Yuming, Chris Ng a.k.a. chrisnfy85, Marc Lee and Derrick Chew aka DCWJ. Cool hand drawn art on nice wood boards all for a good cause!

OIC at *Scape – Art Park / Art Wall WIP pixs

Some Work In Progress photos from our mural wall at *Scape. Thanks to *Scape ( Kenneth, Cherie and team ) for the invitation and support of OICsingapore. Thanks to DBS for sponsoring it as well.
We assembled a team lead by AnnGee with myself and Fleecircus overseeing the team. Team members include – MrB/ Ben Qwek, Noreen Loh, and Twisstii.
We were also assisted by friends who dropped by – SanSan, Shuan Touw & his friend and a team of 1st year students from Temasek Poly – Siu Yen, Kaori, Norman, Nicole and Abigail Ng.
This wall should be completed before the middle of July. We will be posting a video and the pictures of the completed wall soon.

A day of celebration, a day of super cute kids and little girls and dogs, a day of lovely couples and families, a day for catching up and meeting new friends, a wonderful day out for siblings and good friends!

The idea of the illustration is based on a daydream/ idea while jogging- about giant world worms that move around interstitial spaces and swimming into peoples’ fingertips transmitting dreams and stuff – this birthday present was for someone i was trying to explain the concept to.

For gifts like these- I usually digital print, mount and thin-black-plastic frame it at sunshine plaza – one day turnover to print and frame ( not at fantastic exhibition quality or definitely not for sale or for commercial or

Mindflyer’s “Razor Blade Glider” for Kult Magazine

My contribution for a new series by Kult magazine on strange facts about animals. The fact I have chosen is “A snail can even go over a razor blade without getting hurt!”
The snail is a fascinating creature to me, the way it moves , the strange antennae and the mobile home on its back! Posing is FREE, each artwork is S$10 available for purchase- all proceeds goes to the artists.

Artists! Polish your drawing skills & catch up with your OIC buddies at the same time. Everyone gets 20 minutes to draw the “patron/ sitter” at the same time. You get $10 for each drawing sold . Make it PLAYFUL and COLOURFUL, all skill levels welcomed. OIC Portrait Day is about artists having fun and experimenting with new ways to capture an interesting image and making new friends.
You don’t have to be an OIC member to take part but you have to register and please read the FAQ. Come and draw, make friends and spread good drawing vibes. Artists Registration Fee is S$10/-
